OGP has expanded its award-winning SmartScope M-Series range with the launch of the new SmartScope M130, a large-capacity multi-sensor measurement system designed to deliver high precision on big and heavy components.
The M130 has been developed for manufacturers who need the flexibility of multi-sensor measurement but also the strength and scale to handle larger parts.
With a generous stage capacity of 790 × 815 × 200mm as standard, optional Z-axis upgrades up to 400mm, and a payload capacity of 75kg, the system is built to support heavy-duty applications across industries such as aerospace, automotive and medical manufacturing.
New optical performance
At the heart of the M130 is OGP’s latest IntelliCentric-M Optical System, which combines telecentric optics and a 20-megapixel camera with Virtual Zoom technology.
This removes the need for mechanical zoom, delivering faster throughput, less downtime and sharper accuracy. The system captures more features in a single field of view with zero distortion at low magnification, ensuring consistent and reliable results.
Practical design
The M130 has been engineered with usability in mind. A lower-height base design makes loading and unloading heavy parts more straightforward, while enhanced illumination and sensor options mean it can be configured for a wide variety of inspection tasks.
