TeleStar Probe

Self-contained off-axis partial coherence interferometric range sensor makes the TeleStar® Probe a perfect solution for surface contour measurement. TeleStar Probe offers measurement point resolution down to the sub-micron level (< 0.1 micron), offering the highest performance on both specular and light-scattering diffuse surfaces.

Fast, accurate and efficient, the TeleStar Probe scans up to 500 data points per second with 1.0 micron accuracy and 0.1 micron repeatability. And with a 25mm constant working distance, shallow return angle, this probe allows for measurement of deep internal bores and blind holes. The TeleStar Probe is mounted into a deployment mechanism which allows it to retract out of the way when out of use.

Using similar advanced interferometric technology available previously only in through-the-lens from on OGP SmartScope® Vantage, this more cost-effective off-axis version on SmartScope ZIP® significantly enhances ZIP sensor capabilities and overall measurement versatility.
